Municipal Chief Executive of Nzema East in the Western Region, Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah, has reshaped the road linking Awuku-Aguafo-Agona.
The reshaping of the road, according to MCE, was to make the roads motorable and accessible to economic development in the municipality and the country at large.
Madam Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah, in an interview with Kantanka News said, her focus was to make all the roads in the municipality motorable.
She added, the with support from the government is making the plans to fix all the road network challenges boosting agricultural activities in the municipality.
Access to good road is a major challenge the people are facing in the municipality.
The MCE, Madam Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah, in an effort to address the roadnetwork issue in the area has embarked on reshaping of some roads within the municipality, so that the people will not face many challenges especially during the rainy season.
Large quantities of farm produce are left in the farms wasting away due to bad road network in the area.
The people of Nzema East are most found engaged in fishing, farming and mining as their major occupation.
Madam Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah, the MCE of Nzema East assured the people of fixing the road issues.
The MCE also promised provide mechanized borehole to some of the communities which does not have access to portable drinking water to address that challenges facing them.
Some of the road users in the area expressed their appreciation to the MCE and the President for making the road motorable for them.
