“No Living Person In Residence A1 Block” Turkish Authorities Confirm Amid Hopes Of Atsu’s Survival

Less than 1 minute Minutes

Ghanaians and the football world have been waiting for news of Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu, who was one of the victims of the earthquake that struck the Turkish city of Hatay.

Rescue teams had earlier revealed that thermal cameras had been able to detect the room in which the player logged inside the Hatay Renaissance building in the city of Hatay. This raised hopes that the player would soon be found alive.

However, the rescue team has now revealed that there are no living or dead persons that can be taken out of the room where the player was lodging. The team stated that although they have done all they could, there was really nothing more they could do to bring out people trapped under the A1 block of the building.

This is certainly not the kind of news people were waiting to hear as hopes were high that the player and other people trapped under the rubble would be found.
