NDC Appoints Amenfi Central Joana Gyan Cudjoe as Women’s Wing National Coordinator.
The NDC has designated Hon Joana Gyan-Cudjoe, the Parliamentary Candidate for Amenfi Central under their banner, as the National Coordinator for the NDC Women’s Wing Working Committee.
Her role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the women’s wing in preparation for the 2024 general elections. This appointment was formalized at AH hotel in Accra during the official inauguration of the women’s wing working committee.
The inauguration showcases the party’s unity ahead of the 2024 general elections. The committee’s primary objective is to effectively communicate the party’s campaign messages to the electorate to ensure a successful outcome. Regional women’s organizers expressed confidence in the party’s victory during the event. In her address, Hon Joana Gyan-Cudjoe emphasized the importance of women’s unity to achieve power in the upcoming general elections.
She highlighted the significant female population in Ghana and stressed the need for women to support men in their pursuit of political power. She encouraged party members to support Parliamentary Candidates to secure more NDC seats across all constituencies.
Hon Joana Gyan-Cudjoe pledged to visit regional women’s organizers to ensure efficient operations at both the regional and constituency levels.
She also called on women organizers to alleviate the workload of the National Women Organizer, Dr Louisa Hanna Bissiw, by mobilizing members at regional and constituency levels to strengthen the party.
Hon Joana Gyan-Cudjoe assured her commitment to providing the necessary logistics to ensure a productive 2024 campaign.
