Less than 1 minute Minutes

Rt. Rev. Daniel De-Graft Brace, the Methodist Bishop of Sekondi Diocese in the Western Region has called on leaders and members to take a keen interest as the Methodist Church Ghana has begun its census.

According to him, church leaders and members are to make sure the census is well organized to assist the church to get a credible database for the Diocese to build on statistics.

He made this passionate call at the 61st Annual Synod of the Sekondi Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana with the theme “Discipleship: Living the Transformed Life in Jesus Christ”.

Church Census

The Methodist Bishop indicated that the church getting a credible numerical strength of the connexion has been one of the major challenges.

Again, various attempts were made to get near credible statistics of the societies and the church but all efforts proved futile as Circuits come with various reasons as to why previous year’s statistics were incorrect but promises that what has been presented for the current year are more accurate ones.

A way to correct these anomalies, hence the Methodist Church to organize a census for its members across all societies, circuits, and dioceses.
