MTN Ghana have announced in the past weeks their intention to transact business with only MoMo customers with a valid ID card.
This policy is to protect customers as many bad people have made it their profession to defraud customers. But it will sometimes be inconvenient for some customers as they need to carry along their ID cards always.
Furthermore, some customers are using the Mobile Money (MoMo) service but the account is registered with another person’s details and this is going to be a big problem for such customers because, they cannot withdraw their own money. Now the big question is, how do I withdraw my own money?

What you need to do is to just transfer the money to a colleague or a family member who may have his/her MoMo account dully registered with his/her details for that person to withdraw it on your behalf. That’s simple right??
