Yesterday, 22nd November,2020, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo paid a visit to the Fanteakwa South constituents and MP for Fanteakwa South constituency, Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum at Osino.
The president upon his visit used the opportunity to explained the many achievements that his government has chalked since he assumed office to the constituents and traditional leaders who were present at the event. He therefore made categorical statement of an endorsement of the MP and PC for Fanteakwa South constituency and tasked constituents to vote massively for Hon Arafat and himself and ignore any independent candidate for he does not know any independent.
At the gathering at the Osino secondary school, Osino, the presidential campaign team also took the the stage and spoke about the many initiatives, programmes, projects to the constituents.
Speaking at the gathering, the minister of Roads and Highways who doubles as MP for Atewa West, Honourable Amoako Atta promised the good people of Fanteakwa South how the Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo’s government is eager to fix the road network in the whole district. Amongst which he said the roads have been given to contract already to be constructed as soon as possible.
Hon Atta Akyea and Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyapong the presidents political son also spoke to the good people of Fanteakwa South.
Before, the Hon Minister for Eastern region Eric Kwakye Daffour has spoke about Free SHS policy which received a loud noise and joy at the event.
He talked about the FSHS policy, the restoration of teachers and nursing training allowance and others. He therefore charged the teachers, students and the entire constituency to vote massively for the government to continue with the good policies.
Young Patriots, a volunteer group in the constituency also took the center stage of the programme by exhibiting banners and flyer stickers that has the President, his vice and the Hon Member of Parliament Kofi Okyere Agyekum popularly known as Arafat on it.
