The Ayan Abaasa based Frienhoff Academy is set to face Nader Ahali Rovers in their zone 2 opener after being seeded in pot on in the draw.
The Manchester City of Ghana football as popularly known topped the zone 4 of the Central Regional Division Two with a spectacular performance that annexed them to the play off.
With their promising young players and the performance, they were seeded in pot 1 for the draw with teams like UCC Youngsters FC, Cheetah FC and GAP Soccer Academy.
Frienhoff Academy is expected to lock horns with Nadal Ahali Rovers on 16th May, 2024 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as their first match.
Speaking with head coach, Phyl Nana Akomeah, he said the boys are poised for victory with good and entertaining football as they always do.
“I have confidence in my boys and I know they will make us all proud, and make themselves proud too. Management and the entire staff is solidly behind them and they’ll never fail them” he said.
Accordingly to the technical director of the team, Gad Carmeli, “it’s not important who we meet n who we do not met. To be the champion we have to beat all.”
They played 18 game, with 14 wins, 2 draws and lost 2. They Score 50 goals and conceded 19 with Maxwell Buabeng scoring 21 of the goals as the top scorer for the team and the zone and probably the region to qualify for the play off.
