COCOBOD CEO Enstooled As Cocoa Developmental Chief.
The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana COCOBOD, Mr. Joseph Boahen Aiddo was enstooled as Cocoa developmental chief of KumiKrom in the Western North Region.
He was enstool by the chiefs and cocoa farmers of KumiKrom in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality.
According to the cocoa farmers, the previous government played a role in reviving the cocoa production in Ghana but the current administration together with COCOBOD activities is exceptional.
The cocoa farmers hinted that they were overwhelmed with the introduction of the cocoa rehabilitation program as they can now have a sigh of relief after cutting their cocoa trees for replanting due to the swollen shoot virus disease three years ago.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana COCOBOD, Mr. Joseph Boahen Aiddo after being installed as KumiKrom Cocoa Developmental Chief, expressed his profound gratitude to the chiefs, cocoa farmers, and residents for such recognition.
However, he indicated his recognition to signify that, KumiKrom Cocoa farmers have understood and welcomed the cocoa rehabilitation program.
Furthermore, Mr. Boahen Aiddo urged other cocoa farmers who have not yet agreed to the cutting of their cocoa trees due to the Swollen Shoot Virus Disease to reconcile with their decision.
His enstoolment as KumiKrom Cocoa Developmental Chief resurfaced when he toured cocoa growing areas in the Western North Region to have first-hand information on the progress of work on the national cocoa rehabilitation program.
