Ghanaian football player, Christian Atsu, has been rescued after being caught in the deadly earthquake that occurred in Turkey recently.
The player and his teammates were inside one of the buildings that collapse when the deadly earthquake struck and was trapped under the rubble for over a day before being found.
According to the vice president of Hatayspor, where Atsu plies his footballing trade, the player “was found with injuries”.
More than 2000 people lost their lives and thousands more were injured when a deadly earthquake shook the city of Hatay in Turkey. The effects are said to have been felt as far as Cairo in Egypt.
