Black Sheriff Reveals How He Became Homeless

Less than 1 minute Minutes

Popular Ghanaian singer, Black Sheriff, has revealed the inspiration behind his song ‘The Homeless Song’.

The musician revealed in an interview on the British podcast +44 that he was homeless during the month of March and it was during that period that he penned the song.

According to him, he was homeless along with his producer for about eight days due to issues he had with his previous music financier known as Chavis Wayne. Black Sheriff was taken to court by Chavis Wayne for breach of contract after the musician refused to accept a house and vehicle that was offered to him.

Another issue was Black Sheriff’s signing to the American-based Empire Entertainment label. The musician revealed that these issues rendered him and his producer of the song homeless during that period.

Black Sheriff also stated that he was provided with accommodation by fellow musician, Smallgod.
