Ajumako Enyan Essiam DCE & CoDA Commission Ultra Modern School Block

Infrastructural development remains one of the key promises this government assured the people of Ghana of and every indication points to its the fulfilment.

On Wednesday May 18, 2022, Rev. Hon Ransford Kwasi Nyarko, District Chief Executive for Ajumako Enyan Essiam was joined by leadership of Coastal Development Authority to commission an ultra modern school Block with ancillary facilities at Ajumako Osedzi, a suburb of Ajumako.

The facility, which is a 6 Unit Classroom Block, comes with light fittings, ceiling fans ,an ICT lab(to be stocked) an office, Sanitary Facility and Staff Common Room among others.

Mr Agyakum, Headmaster of Osedzi Salvation Army expressed how motivated his staff were for the upgraded status of the school

“The government has made education attractive to the people of Osedzi and hence we shall be going to work instead of ‘school'”

Such infrastructure are often sited mainly in the cities, but Osedzi, despite its location has been offered what hitherto was exclusive to Accra and Kumasi. We thank the President and government and the DCE for his untiring effort’ He added.

In his address, Hon. Ransford Kwesi Nyarko , DCE of the area expressed appreciation to CoDA and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for making his constituents beneficiaries of the $1million per constituency. There are CoDA sponsored projects in Boso, Bisease, Asempanyin, Enyan Apaa, Breman Essiam among other communities. He entreated the beneficiaries to ensure the project was maintained for the use of posterity. Touching on culture of maintenance, Hon Ransford urged the the people to take good care of the facility since they owned it.

Nana Kofi Saah VIII, Omankrado of Osedzi disclosed how special he felt for the project on his land and extended appreciation to the DCE , CoDA and government.

Hon S. K Adom, assembly member of the area who could not hide his joy, sang the praise of President Akufo-Addo for making education one of his priorities. He indicated how achieved he felt for seeing the project completed within 3 months.

Lawyer Jerry Ahmed Shaib is the CEO of CoDA assured the district of more projects in the coming days.
