Telecommunication giant AirtelTigo has been running a promotion known as ‘Tu Gu Me SO’ for some time now and numerous customers have been winning.
The latest person to win in the promotion is a man known as Abdul Malik Abdul Karim, who took home just 100gh or $10. However, the source of contention among people on social media has to do with what the telecommunication company aims to achieve by creating a large placard for such a small amount of money, stating that the cost of the placard alone was even more than the money the man won. As if that was not enough, they had Mr. Abdul hold the large placard and force a smile for the cameras as well.
To make matters worse, one could see a person behind Mr. Abdul, more likely a placard, with a sadistic smile on his face. People on social media are wondering why AirtelTigo was bold enough to post such a low win amount on a large placard and post it on their social media page.
