Quavo’s Record Label, Quality Control, Acquired By South Korean Company In $320 Million Deal

The record label of rapper Quavo, known as Quality Control, has been acquired by a South Korean entertainment company based in the United States known as HYBE America.

The music record label, which is also home to the rapper, Lil Baby was acquired in a $320 million deal by HYBE America in cash and stock. Quality Control’s business portfolio consisted of sports, music, television, and film. Artists signed on to the label include popular rappers, Migos, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, City Girls, and several more.

Quality Control was established by Pierre ‘P’ Thomas who is the firm’s CEO and Kevin ‘Coach K’ Lee who is the firm’s COO. Quality Control will still continue its affiliation with Universal Music Group for the distribution of its music.
