Nigerian afro-beat musician, Wizkid failed to mount the stage at a show at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana.
The singer could not be found anywhere at the venue and it is alleged that only 5000 people were present at the 40,000-capacity venue. The venue was still not filled even though free tickets were being offered to the people.
Fans waited at the venue until 4 am but ‘Machala’ as he is known to fans, was still nowhere to be found. The fans eventually left the venue in disappointment.
It is not known yet if Wizkid was actually billed to perform at the show as the show did not receive much promotion in the build-up to the date.
