On her Egyasogyaso show on Okay FM, media presenter, Vim Lady lashed out heavily at the ruling NPP party for the bad state of the country’s economy. According to the ace broadcaster, the NPP lied to Ghanaians that they had the men to make the country better but that has not been the case since they came to power six years ago.
In a series of vicious rants on her show, the broadcaster lambasted the Akuffo Addo-led government for its mismanagement of the economy and the hardship it has brought onto the average Ghanaian. She stated that the Cedi was performing better against the dollar during the NDC regime.
The Ghanaian cedi has been performing badly against the US dollar and this has affected the cost of living in Ghana sharply. Vice President Bawumia aka ‘Economic Wizkid’, famously stated that he had arrested the cedi and handed the keys over to the IGP but that seemed not to have solved the case as a dollar now equals 15cedis.
