Lydia Forson Throws Her Weight Behind Black Sheriff For Refusing To Perform For 97k Cedis

Less than 1 minute Minutes

Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has thrown her weight behind the fast-rising musician, Black Sheriff after he refused to perform in the UK for 97k cedis.

The actress lambasted the organizers of the event for making the reason behind the musician’s exclusion public after they were unwilling to pay what he asked for. According to her, if Black Sheriff believed that was worth that much, the organizers then had two options, either they paid what he was asking for or they moved on and looked for another person they could afford.

Lydia Forson also stated that at least, Ghanaians would know where Black Sheriff made his money and would not try to question him one day when he showed off a mansion.

Black Sheriff was expected to perform at the Ghana party in Park UK, a concert in the UK but did not show up. Organizers of the event then later clarified that ‘Kwaku the traveler’ hitmaker had requested 50k pounds when they were willing to pay him 10k pounds.

Social media has since been on the topic with some sections supporting Blacko’s refusal while some think that he should have accepted whatever they offered.
