Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service in the Western Region during the 3rd court proceedings presented an autopsy report which was said to have been conducted by *Dr. Erskine* to the Sekondi Magistrate Court “B”*
However, Dr Erskine who was said to have conducted a postmortem examination on the Late JOSEPH ENTSIE, for unidentified reasons was unable to appear in court but was represented by his counsel for four consecutive court proceedings.
The lead counsel for the deceased family, Lawyer EBO DONKOR, after court proceedings today at Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, confirmed to Kantanka News that Dr Erskine has been invited and ordered to appear before the Sekondi Magistrate Court ‘B’ for cross-examination by parties involved in the case.
He said the plaintiff hopes that the business for the scheduled dates is for the doctor to come and explain what is entailed in the doctor’s report on layman’s knowledge.
Lawyer Ebo Donkor indicated that if the report to be explained by the Pathologist does not reflect the general information given to the public by the police that Joseph Entsie died by hanging and it goes contrary to that, then by coroner act, the Magistrate is mandated to order for an investigation into the cause of the death.
“The family is already bereaved and the least the society can do for them is to make sure that the true cause of their beloved Joseph Entsie is established”, he added.
