“THAT IS NOT MY SIGNATURE” – SHAMA FORMER MP

The Former Member of Parliament for Shama Constituency in the Western Region, Mr. Ato Panford has debunked claims of a purported signature captured on a Polling Station nomination form to be his own.

A Polling Station application form circulated on social media where it indicated that the former Member of Parliament was vying for chairmanship position at Essawah with Polling Station code A091506.

Verifying the authenticity of the signature on the polling station form for the ongoing elections, the industrialist stressed that signature on the form does not belong to him.

“That is not my signature”, he added.

The ongoing New Patriotic Party’NPP’ internal polling station elections across the country has created some misunderstandings among members of the party, most especially in the Western Region.

Some of party members having the zeal and willingness to be part of the new polling stations executives are aggrieved due to mafia tactics by the current election committee members and constituency executives who are seeking not to allow them be part of the executives as new entrants.

Meanwhile, some aggrieved NPP members in the Shama Constituency who were allegedly declined to contest in the polling station elections are accusing the current Constituency Chairman whose name was identified as Mr. Kwame Tawiah for masterminding the electoral process.

According to them, they have been linked of being supporters of Mr. Alan Kyerematen, flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party ‘NPP’
