Less than 1 minute Minutes

It has been a rumor for over a week now, but Obrempong-Nana Kwaku Ampomah can confirm that Chief Executive Officer of Unique Kingdom Communications, Dr. Jonathan Amofah has completely shut down Kingdom fm in Nkawkaw.

Kingdom fm, Nkawkaw, has been off for a couple of weeks now which many presumed to be either fixing of some technical issues or maybe because of other things. Little did we know that the station will be shut down.

Unique Kingdom Communications are operators of the then Kingdom TV and Kingdom fm across Ghana, ie Kingdom fm (Accra, Tamale, Ho, Sunyani, Axim, Mankessim, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Kumasi etc).

As we speak, we are reliabily informed that Kingdom fm in Tamale and Mankessim have all been shut down.

Koforidua was closed and moved to Accra, but it’s uncertain whether these closed stations are going to be relocated. But workers at Nkawkaw Branch are in tatters since the company owes them over Nine Months salary arrears.

On Thursday 30th September 2021, some officials from Accra stormed the Nkawkaw branch of Kingdom fm to pick up all the machines and equipments, putting the station off air, whiles workers remain hungry and starving.

The fate of the workers are still undecided and the CEO seem not to care about it.
